I like that Brody is having fun, while learning valuable skill.
Lauren has been my son’s coding teacher for the past two years. He participated in the coding competition with Dash and Dot. I can’t say enough about this experience. This is not simply a coding experience but an opportunity to learn that it takes perseverance and team work to reach your goals. Lauren has been hands on, engaging and a cheer leader for the kids to complete their tasks and learn about coding. I highly recommend the program and the teacher. 🙂
Our girls LOVED their first coding camp experience. They learned so much and felt empowered every day. They came home talking about new terminology they learned and even taught us how to do some fun things on their coding apps. This was such a positive experience for both of them and such a great summer camp. It was absolutely worth the money!
Both of my kids learned a lot at the kids coding classes and camps that they have participated in. They still reference back what they learned when they make connections. Lauren is a great teacher who inspires kids and really makes them love all things STEAM. Highly recommend this program!
Kids Can Code camp allowed my boys to learn about coding in a relaxed and fun yet educational environment. I don’t think they knew how much learning they did during their week long camp. They are already asking to go to another week of camp. Thank you Ms Wade!
Lauren Wade is both a professional and passionate about her work with teaching children programming. She treats every new experience as a time to learn as well as preparation for a teaching opportunity for her students. My son looks forward to her STEAM classes above all others and we participate in every program she offers.
I loved coding Dot because you could make it tell silly jokes. My teacher helped me learn a lot about coding and had new robots & games every day!
I loved seeing how proud the kids were when the robots did what the programmed them to do! They were so happy and enjoyed the week. Thank you!
Lauren Wade has guided our daughter Megan through her first coding experiences as a fourth grader. Megan consistently shares her goal of someday working for NASA and as parents, we believe that having a background in coding will be key to achieving this goal. By connecting Megan with Mrs. Wade, she is gaining a significant amount of quality coding experience with a teacher who is knowledgeable, patient and makes the learning environment super fun! Most of the presents that Megan asked for this past Christmas revolved around robots and coding tools and accessories so that she could continue to code and play with robots at home. We thank Mrs. Wade for creating that spark and look forward to many more fun coding experiences. We are so very lucky to have connected with her! We absolutely recommend this program and teacher!!!
Out of all of the camps that Zayn has attended over the years—and he’s attended some good ones—this is the first camp experience where he consistently expressed his excitement about attending camp the next day … and was sad for the week to end. Zayn will definitely attend future camps. We’re quickly becoming Kids Can Code ambassadors! Thank you for an amazing experience!
Our girls LOVED Kids Can Code camp! Mrs. Lauren is so much fun, and they hated for the week to end. Both of our girls (ages 5 and 8) were encouraged throughout the week to expand upon what they already knew and were also given the opportunity to work with new robots that they hadn’t used before. We highly recommend Kids Can Code programs!
